We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our growing team as Head Baker / Pastry.
QualificationsMinimum 3-5 years of experience in bakery and pastry, preferably with experience as Head Baker, Head Pastry, or similar leadership position.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in producing various bread, pastry, dough, desserts, and bakery products.
Experienced in high-volume production, production planning, and daily preparation.
Strong understanding of recipe standardization, portion control, yield, and food cost management.
Able to develop and improve bakery/pastry products while maintaining consistency in taste, texture, appearance, and quality.
Experienced in managing raw materials, stock requirements, waste, and production efficiency.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, and supervise bakery/pastry teams.
Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, storage, and handling standards.
Able to coordinate with Kitchen, Purchasing, Cost Control, and Operations regarding production and product requirements.
Creative, detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to work under pressure while meeting production targets.
