UNICEF Indonesia secures, develops and maintains strategic partnerships with High Value private sector partners (with a specific focus on contributions of US $ 100,000 and upwards) to advance the rights and wellbeing of children across the country. These partnerships are central to achieving programme results and require effective management.
To enhance its ability to manage the growing number of private sector high-value partners, UNICEF Indonesia seeks to engage a Partnerships Officer. The staff member will play a key role in managing relationships with UNICEF high-value partners to ensure agreed partnerships for children proceed as planned, and to inspire them with results achieved. The staff member will ensure effective management and stewardship of the partnerships across all partnerships under the role's portfolio.
This is a Temporary Appointment contract with a duration of 364 days.

Under the supervision of the NOB Partnerships Officer (Foundation and Philanthropy), the Partnerships Officer (High Value) will be responsible for the following key end results:
The combined strategy for high value partnerships is executed and results is achieved on a timely basis.
Regular monitoring and evaluation activities are undertaken according to the work plan to ensure maximum impact and continuous improvement of country fundraising efforts. Results and reports are prepared and shared on a timely basis.
- Manage the implementation of agreed partnerships, in liaison with Communication and relevant Programme section(s); cultivate existing high-value partners; expand these partnerships wherever possible through comprehensive account management efforts. Coordinate the development of prospective partners through to final approval.
- Under the guidance of the Partnerships Officer (NOB), and working with the dedicated high-value new business lead, assess the potential market and identify opportunities for new partnerships, for example through philanthropy, cause-related marketing, customer and employee giving, special events etc. and expand high value partnerships and fundraising network in accordance with relevant policies and guidelines.
