About this Position

As a Quality Control Senior Supervisor, you will lead the end-to-end QC function for Fresh categories (fruits, vegetables, eggs, dairy, frozen products, etc.) within the warehouse
. This role is responsible for ensuring product quality standards are maintained from inbound to outbound, minimizing waste, and ensuring compliance with product specifications and temperature handling standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound QC processes (verify, assess, investigate) to determine product acceptance or rejection based on quality standards.
• Conduct stock screening in storage areas to identify near-expiry products and define appropriate action plans.
• Ensure proper temperature handling across all stages (inbound, storage, outbound).
• Collaborate with Category Management regarding product specification discrepancies and negotiate when necessary.
• Manage over-commitment issues with vendors (size, weight, or specification mismatches).
• Analyze waste across all operational stages and implement improvement initiatives to reduce shrinkage.
• Lead and supervise QC team members (±20 direct reports; ±45 total QC staff in warehouse).
• Collect, validate, and process quality data for reporting and decision-making purposes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct stock screening in storage areas to identify near-expiry products and define appropriate action plans.
• Ensure proper temperature handling across all stages (inbound, storage, outbound).
• Collaborate with Category Management regarding product specification discrepancies and negotiate when necessary.
• Manage over-commitment issues with vendors (size, weight, or specification mismatches).
• Analyze waste across all operational stages and implement improvement initiatives to reduce shrinkage.
• Lead and supervise QC team members (±20 direct reports; ±45 total QC staff in warehouse).
• Collect, validate, and process quality data for reporting and decision-making purposes.

• Bachelor’s Degree (S1/D4) from any major; preferably Food Science, Agribusiness, or Management.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations, particularly within e-commerce or retail industries.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a QA/QC Supervisor handling fresh or frozen products in FMCG, Retail, E-commerce, or F&B industries.
• Hands-on experience managing fresh and frozen products including fruits, vegetables, eggs, dairy, and frozen food.
• Proven leadership skills with solid judgment and decision-making capabilities.
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with experience in validating and processing quality data.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment and meet agreed deadlines.
