Lead the research and development process for innovative new food and beverage products, from concept stage through to market readiness. Drive innovation and improvement of existing menu items based on current market trends to enhance product quality, customer satisfaction and market competitiveness. Develop recipe formulations to improve taste and texture quality while maintaining food safety, cost efficiency and customer preferences.
Key responsibilities
Lead the research and development process for innovative new food and beverage products from concept to market readiness
Drive innovation and improvement of existing menu items based on current market trends
Develop recipe formulations to improve taste and texture while maintaining food safety and cost efficiency
Ensure product quality and consistency meets established standards and complies with food safety regulations
Optimize production processes through evaluation and implementation of more effective methods
Collaborate with Warehouse & Logistics Manager and Purchasing Manager on supplier selection and material quality evaluation
Implement quality control measures and conduct periodic product testing
Collaborate with Marketing and Operational Team on new product launch planning
About you
Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Culinary Arts or related field
5 years of work experience as Research & Development Manager, particularly in food & beverage industry or startup
Experience in development and launch of food and beverage products
Mastery of food processing techniques and procedures
Understanding of food and beverage formulation techniques
Ability to assess food quality based on sensory evaluation
Experience with product lifecycle management and implementation of food safety systems and quality management (HACCP, GMP, ISO, etc.)
Integrity, attention to detail, quality and efficiency orientation, drive for innovation and commitment to food safety standards
