Conduct market research and analyze beauty industry trends, consumer needs, and competitor products to identify new product opportunities.
Develop new products and improve existing formulations in collaboration with R&D, manufacturers, and suppliers.
Coordinate the end-to-end product development process, from product concept, sampling, testing, and evaluation to product launch.
Ensure product quality, safety, efficacy, and compliance with applicable regulations, including BPOM requirements.
Collaborate with Marketing, Brand, Packaging, and Regulatory teams to ensure products align with brand positioning and target consumers.
Coordinate product sampling, stability testing, compatibility testing, and product performance evaluations.
Manage product development timelines, costs, specifications, and documentation to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets.
Evaluate product packaging, ingredients, claims, and product benefits to ensure alignment with market needs and brand strategy.
Monitor product performance after launch and recommend improvements based on consumer feedback and market insights.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Product Development, R&D, or a related role in the beauty, skincare, haircare, or personal care industry.
Good understanding of cosmetic ingredients, formulations, product claims, and beauty market trends.
Familiarity with BPOM regulations and cosmetic product registration processes.
Experience coordinating with manufacturers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
Strong project management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and documentation management.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet product development deadlines.
