Location: Jakarta Barat

As a Merchandiser Lead, you will oversee and manage all merchandising activities to ensure product availability, in-store presentation, and sales strategies are effectively executed to achieve company objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop merchandise plans based on sales targets, historical trends, and market analysis.
  • Forecast demand for key SKUs and categories across channels (retail, e-commerce, consignment, etc.).
  • Maintain and update assortment plans aligned with brand positioning and seasonal trends.
  • Review past performance to inform future allocation and buying decisions.
  • Manage weekly stock allocation for all sales channels (e.g., retail stores, e-commerce, & partners).
  • Monitor stock levels, identify overstock/understock issues, and implement corrective actions (e.g., reallocation, markdown).
  • Collaborate with supply chain/warehouse to ensure timely replenishment and inbound processing.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams for stock movement, allocation instructions, and order fulfillment.
  • Oversee product onboarding and phase-out processes (new launch to clearance).
  • Ensure accurate SKU setup and maintenance across internal and external systems (ERP, POS, e-commerce backend).
  • Coordinate new product rollouts and support go-to-market plans with accurate stock readiness.
  • Track product performance (sell-through, aging stock, out of stock frequency) and propose lifecycle adjustments.
  • Use data to identify trends, suggest optimizations, and support business decisions.
  • Present insights to senior management or cross-functional teams to align on merchandise strategies.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of junior merchandisers or assistants.
  • Allocate responsibilities and provide regular feedback to ensure execution excellence.
  • Train team members in reporting, allocation processes, and system usage.
  • Monitor workload distribution, quality of deliverables, and personal development goals.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, inventory planning, or category management.
  • Experience managing people or mentoring junior staff is a strong plus.
Technical Skills
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Familiar with ERP or merchandising systems (e.g., Oracle Netsuite, Anchanto, Shopify, Iseller).
  • Understanding of retail math, inventory KPIs, and basic supply chain flow.
Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a structured approach to execution.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Leadership mindset with proactive ownership.
