Supervisor Finance, Accounting & Tax

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions, including retail sales, returns, and store-level expenses
• Supervise the preparation of journal entries and ensure completeness of supporting documents in line with retail operations
• Review and oversee periodic reconciliations of bank, cash, and daily store sales transactions
• Monitor cash flow activities, including store cash handling, bank transactions, and petty cash across outlets
• Support and review the preparation of monthly financial reports, ensuring alignment with retail performance metrics
• Oversee validation of operational data (sales, returns, discounts, and promotions) to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Supervise stock opname processes across stores and warehouses, ensuring inventory accuracy and shrinkage control
• Coordinate with store operations, merchandising, and warehouse teams for financial data collection and validation
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, internal controls, and retail financial policies
• Be available to oversee sales transaction monitoring and cash inflow verification outside working days (e.g., weekends, peak seasons, or promotional events), if required

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong understanding of financial transaction recording and basic accounting journal entries
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to ensure timely financial recording
• Solid understanding of financial reconciliation processes (bank, cash, and other transactions)
• Proven ability to monitor cash flow and manage petty cash across retail operations
• Good understanding of basic financial statement preparation and reporting
• Ability to review, validate, and ensure accuracy of operational data (sales, returns, discounts, etc.)
• Familiarity with retail business processes, particularly in fashion or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), is an advantage
• Strong coordination and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams (store, warehouse, merchandising)
• Willingness to work with flexible hours, including weekends or peak retail periods, if required
