Retail Merchandiser

Bachelor's Degree in Management, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Retail Merchandiser, Merchandise Planner, Product Allocator, or similar role in the fashion retail industry

Strong understanding of merchandise planning, inventory management, replenishment planning, stock allocation, and inventory productivity

Proficient in calculating retail metrics such as sell-through rate, stock turn, weeks of supply, gross margin return on inventory (GMROI), and inventory aging

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail, and the ability to process and interpret large datasets accurately

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Table, Lookup Functions, Power Query, Dashboard Reporting) and familiar with retail ERP systems

Good communication and coordination skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and store operations

Passion for the fashion industry and a strong understanding of retail consumer behavior trends

Job Summary

Manage product allocation planning, monitor inventory performance, and optimize product distribution across all PT Pakaian Karya Bangsa retail stores

Analyze weekly and monthly sales reports across all stores to identify best sellers, slow movers, and customer demand trends

Prepare initial product allocation plans for each store based on store capacity, customer profiles, and sales projections

Plan and coordinate product replenishment needs based on sales velocity, available inventory, and company stock targets

Monitor inventory levels across all stores regularly to ensure optimal availability of sizes, colors, and product variations

Execute and coordinate inter-store transfer programs to balance inventory and minimize the risk of overstock or stockouts

Identify low-performing products and propose markdown recommendations, promotions, or other sales acceleration strategies to management

Collaborate with Buyers to provide repeat order recommendations based on sales performance, sell-through rates, and market needs

Analyze merchandising indicators and verify system inventory data against actual store conditions through routine coordination with the operational team

Conduct regular store visits to monitor stock conditions, product allocation effectiveness, and the implementation of merchandising strategies on the floor

Prepare and present periodic analytical reports on product performance, stock allocation effectiveness, and inventory productivity for the Buying & Merchandising Manager
