DevOps Engineer

Job Description

About the Role:

We are looking for a Dev Ops Engineer to support our game development and live operations teams, automated infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will ensure our online services and game backend are reliable, scalable and secure.

You’ll work closely with developers and infrastructure teams to help us deploy faster, minimize downtime, and deliver seamless experiences to millions of players.

Responsibilities:

• Advanced knowledge of Linux
• Experience with continuous integration/delivery implementation (Gitlab, Jenkins, Bitbucket) and Dev Ops practices
• Previous experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience working in cloud environment (AWS, Azure)
• Good understanding of the core components of AWS EKS, Azure Aks, Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Docker (building images, optimization, scaling, automation, registry, clustering)
• Great problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail
• Good English
• Experience with Python/Perl (or any other scripting language)
• General understanding of how APIs work
• Knowledge of network (firewalls, protocols and routing)

Technical

Skills:

• 2+ years of experience as a Dev Ops Engineer or in a similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI).
• Proficiency in managing cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or Go).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and system administration.

Nice‑to‑Have for Game Industry:

• Experience with multiplayer server infrastructure (e.g., Photon, Play Fab, Nakama, or custom game servers).
• Familiarity with game engine build pipelines (Unity, Unreal).
• Understanding of backend scaling for high‑traffic environments (MMOs, battle royale, etc.).
• Knowledge of CDN and latency optimization for global game delivery.
