Skills and Experience

Proficiency in COBOL; deep understanding of COBOL syntax, data structures, file handling, and program logic
Strong understanding of core insurance products, processes, and terminology
Experience with mainframe systems (IBM i) and relevant software (DB2, IBM Web Sphere MQ)
Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., DB2) and database concepts
Proficiency in debugging and problem-solving
Development experience in L400/GASIA core system

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in COBOL development
