About the role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Automation Engineer for Insurance to join PT. SIGMA GLOBAL TEKNOLOGI (SIGMATECH). This is a contract position based in West Jakarta, Jakarta, offering the opportunity to make an immediate impact on our quality assurance operations. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and processes specifically tailored for insurance sector applications.

This position is strategically important as it ensures the delivery of robust, reliable software solutions that meet the stringent compliance and quality standards required in the insurance industry. Key responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts and frameworks for insurance-related software applications

Create and maintain comprehensive test automation strategies that align with project requirements and quality standards

Execute automated tests across various stages of the software development lifecycle

Identify, document, and report defects and issues discovered through automated testing processes

Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and design effective test cases

Maintain and update test automation infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability

Analyse test results and provide actionable insights to improve software quality

Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes

Support regression testing and smoke testing activities throughout the development cycle

Work with stakeholders to establish quality metrics and reporting procedures

What we're looking for

Proven experience in quality assurance automation with at least 2-3 years in a professional capacity

Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar technologies

Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices

Experience with API testing and test automation at various levels (unit, integration, end-to-end)

Familiarity with Agile and Dev Ops environments and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

Knowledge of insurance domain applications and regulatory requirements is highly desirable

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Experience with version control systems such as Git

Familiarity with test management tools and bug tracking systems
