Key Responsibilities
1. Fleet & Driver Management
- Daily Dispatch: Oversee the scheduling and routing of heavy-duty electric trucks to maximize vehicle utilization.
- Driver Lifecycle: Manage the onboarding, training, and performance of drivers, specifically focusing on EV-specific handling (regenerative braking, charging etiquette).
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all field activities strictly follow safety protocols and Indonesian road transport regulations.
- Charging Strategy: Coordinate with the infrastructure team to ensure trucks are charged during off-peak hours or between shifts to minimize downtime.
- Route Planning: Utilize AI-driven routing tools to ensure deliveries are within the range limits of the electric fleet.
- KPI Tracking: Monitor key metrics including On-Time Delivery (OTD), Cost per KM, and Carbon Savings.
- Workflow Design: Identify operational bottlenecks and design new workflows to reduce empty miles and logistics waste.
- Financial Impact: Calculate the ROI of process changes, focusing on reducing total cost of ownership (TCO) compared to traditional diesel trucks.
- 3PL
Collaboration:
Manage relationships with third-party vendors and maintenance partners. - Client Interface: Act as the primary escalation point for corporate clients regarding trucking delays or service quality.
- Experience: 3–5 years in Logistics Operations, Fleet Management, or a high-growth startup (experience with 3PL/Trucking is a must).
- Analytical Mindset: High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Metabase, etc.) to translate data into action.
- Tech‑Savvy: Comfortable using Fleet Management Systems (FMS) and IoT-tracking platforms.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership and ground-level communication—you must be as comfortable talking to C‑suite executives as you are with truck drivers at a warehouse dock.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
