Crewing Manager

• Lead and oversee end‑to‑end crew management activities, including recruitment, deployment, retention, training, and performance management of seafarers.
• Ensure all crewing activities comply with applicable maritime regulations, company policies, and international standards, including STCW, MLC, and Flag State requirements.
• Manage crew planning and crew change operations to ensure optimum vessel manning and uninterrupted fleet operations.
• Coordinate crew logistics, certifications, travel arrangements, and documentation to ensure timely deployment.
• Monitor crew competency, training requirements, and career development programs to maintain a high‑performing workforce.
• Maintain accurate crew records and ensure data integrity within crewing management systems.
• Collaborate closely with Marine, Technical, Operations, and QHSE departments to support operational requirements and workforce planning.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance crewing efficiency, compliance, and employee engagement.
• Manage relationships with manning agencies, training providers, and relevant maritime authorities.

• Must possess a valid ANT I or ATT I certification.
• Minimum 5 years of seagoing experience, with the last position held as Master, Chief Engineer, Marine Superintendent, Operations, or Designated Person Ashore (DPA).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Crewing Manager or in a similar leadership role managing a crew workforce of more than 600 personnel.
• Strong understanding of crewing operations, vessel manning requirements, maritime regulations, and industry best practices.
• Comprehensive knowledge of STCW, MLC, ISM Code, and other relevant maritime regulations.
• Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead teams in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
