Role Description The Senior Captain role at Citilink Indonesia is a full-time, on-site position based in Gambir. The Senior Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of scheduled and charter flights, including pre-flight planning, aircraft inspection, route review, and coordination with flight dispatch and ground operations. During flight, the Senior Captain leads the cockpit crew, manages flight controls and navigation, monitors aircraft systems, and ensures compliance with aviation regulations, company SOPs, and safety protocols.

This role includes supervising First Officers, mentoring junior flight crew, overseeing cabin crew coordination, and ensuring high standards of passenger service and safety. The Senior Captain also participates in recurrent training, simulator checks, safety reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain and enhance operational performance.
Qualifications

• Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with Airbus A320 type rating or relevant fleet qualification, and current Class 1 medical certificate.
• Extensive flight experience as Pilot in Command on commercial jet operations, with a strong safety record and demonstrated command decision-making.
• Thorough knowledge of international and Indonesian civil aviation regulations, company SOPs, and standard navigation and flight operations procedures.
• Strong leadership, crew resource management, and mentoring skills to guide flight and cabin crew and support a collaborative, safety-focused culture.
• Excellent situational awareness, problem-solving, and risk management abilities, particularly in high-pressure or rapidly changing operational environments.
• Clear and effective communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both verbal and written, for cockpit communication and passenger-related announcements.
• Commitment to punctuality, professionalism, and high customer service standards aligned with Citilink's vision and mission.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, and to participate in regular training, proficiency checks, and safety programs.
• Experience with low-cost carrier operations and multi-sector daily flying is an advantage.
