Role Description  The Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. The role involves designing and delivering undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses, preparing lesson plans, conducting classroom and laboratory sessions, and evaluating student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations. The faculty member is expected to engage in academic advising, support students in research and industry-oriented projects, and contribute to curriculum development to align with current technological trends.

Additional responsibilities include participating in departmental activities, academic committees, accreditation initiatives, and maintaining an active interest in scholarly work, such as publications and conferences. The role also requires collaboration with colleagues to foster an inclusive, supportive, and outcome-oriented learning environment.
Qualifications
Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science and Computer Science & Engineering, with the ability to teach core CSE subjects.
Proficiency in Programming and related software development practices for effective teaching of coding and problem-solving courses.
Expertise or demonstrated interest in Data Science, including data analysis, machine learning concepts, and applied data-driven projects.
Knowledge of Cybersecurity principles, tools, and best practices to guide learners in secure computing and information security topics.
Experience or training in Curriculum Development, including designing syllabi, learning outcomes, and assessment strategies.
Relevant academic qualifications such as a Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline, as per regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse learners.
Commitment to inclusive teaching practices, ethical conduct, continuous professional development, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary academic environment.
Prior teaching, research, or industry experience in CSE-related domains is highly beneficial.
