Certification Details
- Certified Surgical Technician position at Brigham & Women's Faulkner Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham system.
- Job involves 36-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
Job Details
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification (NBSTSA or NCCT only) required.
- Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification required within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration.
- Must have documentation of required immunizations and health screenings including MMR, Influenza Vaccine (during flu season), TB Test within 3 months of start date, and Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date.
- Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date and updated annually.
- MGB Criminal Background Check within 45 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break.
- MGB Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break.
- MGB Resume including past 7 years of work experience required for submission.
- 2 recent references required, minimum 1 Supervisor or Above, in skillset.
- MGB Skills Checklist required for submission.
- MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form required for all initial assignments and extensions upon acceptance of assignment.
- MGB Education Verification through background check company required.
- MGB SSN Trace must be run with Criminal check.
- MGB National Sex Offender Check run within 30 days of start and updated annually.
- MGB Exclusion Checks run within 30 days of start and annually.
- Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) Attestation required if fit test is required for skill.
Job Requirements
- 36-hour shifts, days, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
Schedule Information
- MA Conditional Licenses not accepted.
- No fit testing (initial or updates) can be done onsite at any location except Martha's Vineyard & Nantucket if traveler extends beyond original assignment.
- No religious exemptions considered for Fit Test and Influenza Vaccine.
- Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15th - April 30th).
- Positive PPD requires negative chest X-ray documentation.
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred but not required.
- Strongly preferred Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity or declination.
