The Role
You're the strategic brain behind our product decisions. Research what U.S. customers want, decide which products to launch, customize specs and work remotely with our Chinese manufacturing partners to bring them to market. High autonomy, you make the decisions, we don't micromanage.
Key Responsibilities- Consumer Research: Analyze 300-500 Amazon reviews weekly to understand U.S. customer pain points and buying behavior. Study competitors to identify market gaps.
- Product Selection: Evaluate our manufacturer's catalog and recommend which products to launch with clear rationale backed by customer data.
- Product Improvement: Based on customer feedback and reviews, recommend adjustments to product specs (battery size, solar panel wattage, features) to improve ratings and reduce returns.
- Technology
Roadmap:
Identify where our technology needs to evolve. Recommend new capabilities we should develop based on market trends and customer demands. - Technical Specifications: Define product requirements based on what customers need. Work remotely with manufacturers via Zoom/WeChat to ensure specs are met.
