Hospitalist Physician – UPMC Jamestown, NY

We are seeking a full‑time Hospitalist to join UPMC Chautauqua in Jamestown, NY. The hospital serves the region with advanced medical technology and a broad array of services.

• Schedule:
  
  7 days on / 7 days off block schedule
• Shift: 12‑hour (7 a.m.–7 p.m.)
• Visa sponsorship: J‑1 & H‑1B
• Compensation:
  Competitive base salary plus sign‑on bonus, retention incentive, productivity incentive, CME funding, and full benefits package.

• Provide inpatient hospitalist care for open ICU (no procedures required).
• Manage ventilator patient care and other acute medical needs.
• Answer codes and rapid response calls.
• Assist with admissions in partnership with APP and intensivist coverage Monday–Friday 8:00‑4:00 p.m.
• Maintain an average daily census of 16 patients (excluding new admissions) and 2–3 admissions per day.

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted New York Medical License and required credentials.
• DEA certification.
• Proficiency in ventilator management and patient‑centered care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
