Rector of the University of Szczecin announces a competition for the position of assistant (in the field of human capital management) at the Institute of Management of the University of Szczecin

Research Field Economics Education Level Master Degree or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Possession of a master’s degree in social sciences (management, economics, or finance).
  • Very good command of the English language confirmed by an appropriate certificate.
  • Good knowledge of at least three of the following areas:
    • human resource management,
    • human capital management,
    • business ethics/professional ethics,
    • business negotiations,
    • change management,
    • self-development management,
    • ergonomics and occupational safety management in an organization,
    • psychology of learning and development.
  • Experience in conducting classes in English.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
  • Willingness to pursue academic development and scientific activity.

Additional assets will include:

  • Experience in scientific research.
  • Participation in scientific or research and development projects.
  • Experience in organizing scientific conferences.
  • Communicative knowledge of the German language.
Specific Requirements

The applicants must meet the requirements specified in Articles 113 and 116 of the Act of 20 July 2018. Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571 as amended) and in the Statutes of the University of Szczecin as well as the requirements specified in the competition.

  • a statement of compliance with requirements specified in Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571 as amended) (downloadable form)
  • certified copies of documents confirming completion of master's degree in social sciences (management, economics, or finance).and in the case of documents prepared in a language other than Polish, also a certified translation of the document into Polish and a certificate of equivalence of the diploma with the Polish academic degree;
  • information about academic achievements (including a list of publications) and didactic and organizational accomplishments or a declaration about lack thereof;
  • a statement that the University of Szczecin will be the candidate’s main place of work;
  • a candidate’s consent for the processing of personal data by the University of Szczecin in the recruitment process on a form available at the university’s website.
