English Homeroom Teacher (Nursery / Kindergarten)

The American School of Wrocław is seeking caring, creative, and qualified Homeroom Teachers to join our international team in the Nursery/ Kindergarten School. We are looking for educators who are passionate about nurturing young learners through inquiry, play, and exploration within an English-speaking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a warm, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the AERO / American curriculum
• Use formative and summative assessments to guide instruction and monitor progress
• Foster students’ personal, social, and emotional growth
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and colleagues
• Collaborate with the teaching team and participate in school events
• Lead or support one after-school activity or club.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

• Formal teaching qualifications (Bachelor’s degree or higher, QTS or equivalent)
• C2 level of English proficiency
• Experience in Early Years education (international or bilingual setting preferred)
• Strong understanding of child development and modern teaching methodologies
• Passion for early and primary education
• Nurturing and patient personality
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Flexible, collaborative, and solution-oriented attitude
