Research Field Language sciences » Philology Education Level Master Degree or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications

Candidates applying for the above position should meet the requirements set forth in Article 20(1) points 1-3 and Article 113 points 1 and 2 of the Law of July 20, 2018 - Law of Higher Education and Sciences and:

  • hold a Master’s degree in English Philology with teaching qualifications
  • have at least five years of experience in teaching English for Specific Purposes (technical, medical and business English)
  • have several years of experience in teaching adults
  • possess good knowledge of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
  • have experience in teaching using distance learning methods
  • be familiar with modern teaching methodologies and demonstrate the ability to work with students at different levels of language proficiency, support their language development and foster a positive learning environment
  • demonstrate the ability to design syllabi, teaching materials and lesson plans tailored to students’ needs, including the needs of students with disabilities.
  • demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a team, including participation in staff meetings and the organisation and administration of examinations and language competitions
  • demonstrate time availability that allows for flexible scheduling of teaching activities.
Languages ENGLISH Level Excellent

  • A copy of documents confirming obtaining the high school diploma and academic degrees.
  • Information on his/her scientific, teaching and organizational activities, including a list of achievements and indicating the field/discipline he/she represents.
  • Personal questionnnaire for the applicant or CV.
  • A statement that he/she meets the requirements for the position of academic teacher.
  • A clause expressing consent to the processing of personal data for the purposes of the recruitment process.
  • A statement that in the event of employment University of Siedlce will be the primary workplace.

The competition committee reserves the right to interview in person with the candidates.

The competition is expected to be resolved by 16 February, 2026.

Planned employment as of March 1, 2026.

On the basis of 92 paragraph of the Statute of Siedlce University,the Rector reserves the right to withdraw from the settlement of the competition for important reasons.

Selected candidates will be contacted. The documents sent by the University will not be returned. In case the candidate is not employed, the documents will be destroyed. In order to meet the deadline for submitting applications,, the date of their reception by to the University is decisive.
