The competition is open to individuals who meet the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - the Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended) and meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Master's degree in physiotherapy.
• Current document confirming the right to practice as a physiotherapist.
• Hold or are in the process of obtaining teaching qualifications or have documented practical experience outside of higher education.
• Have at least 5 years of professional experience as a physiotherapist.
• Experience in teaching at a university, particularly in the subject of diagnostics and planning of Physiotherapy in Gynecology and Obstetrics.
• Have completed specialized training, particularly completed courses in gynecology/urogynecology, confirmed by certificates and attestations.

Employment:
Academic teacher in the teaching staff group, based on a fixed-term, part-time employment contract, for the 2025/2026 academic year.

• Teaching 105 hours in the Physiotherapy program.
• Professional development, participation in research activities.
• Organizational work for the University of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz, particularly at the Faculty of Physical Culture and Safety Sciences.

For foreign applicants, a sufficient command of Polish is required to conduct teaching.

Applicants are required to submit the following documents:

• a personal questionnaire for the applicant (Appendix
  2);
• a curriculum vitae;
• copies (photocopies) of diplomas confirming their education (originals available for review before signing the contract);
• documents confirming professional experience;
• documents confirming academic achievements;
• a declaration of compliance with the requirements of Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science (Appendix
  3);
• copies of certificates and additional attestations;
• a declaration of receipt of information about the internal procedure for reporting violations of law and taking follow-up actions at the ANS in Nowy Szcz (Appendix
  4).

Documents must be signed by hand or bear a certified electronic signature.

The deadline for submitting documents is February 16, 2026 (the date of receipt at the University will be decisive). The competition results will be announced by February 18, 2026. Information on the results, along with the justification, will be published in the University's Public Information Bulletin and on the website of the Minister of Science and Higher Education.

Additional comments:
The selection committee reserves the right to conduct interviews with candidates who meet the required qualification criteria. Applications that do not meet the formal requirements or are submitted after the deadline will not be considered. The selection process may be invalidated without providing a reason. The results of the selection process do not constitute employment of the winning candidate; they only constitute a recommendation to the Rector in this regard.

The final decision regarding employment rests with the Rector.
