Software Engineer, AI Engineer, Robotics

Hi there! We are South and our client is looking for a Software Engineer!

We are looking for a Software & AI Engineer to support the development of robotics and AI solutions. The role involves software development, AI engineering, and occasionally providing on‑call support. You will contribute to projects in computer vision, robotics, and autonomous systems, applying advanced algorithms and real‑time solutions to challenging problems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electronics or Software Engineering.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Experience with ROS/ROS2, and other tools like Gazebo/Isaac sim for robotics simulation.
• Knowledge of one of: (a) computer vision (OpenCV, Open3D, OpenGL), with (b) robotics planner libraries like RRT.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and version control (Git).
• Hands‑on experience in AI engineering and autonomous navigation projects, with developing software for physical hardware.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in fast‑paced, innovative environments.
• Available to work in a hard‑working, startup‑paced environment (bonus available).
