We are seeking a Sr. General Ledger Accountant to support accounting activities with a primary focus on the ongoing integration and operation for one of our key business units. The majority of your time will be dedicated to this core entity, where you will ensure accurate and timely general ledger management, compliance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements, and drive process improvements.

You will also support other entities within our organization by contributing to process optimization, standardization of accounting tools, alignment of best practices, and participation in cross‑functional projects. Collaboration with local and international finance teams will be a regular part of your work.

The role is part of the Corporate Strategy & Finance team and reports directly to a manager based in Switzerland. This is an on‑site position located at our Wrocław office in the Psie Pole district.

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to US GAAP
• Preparation and processing of month‑end closing entries, such as accruals, prepaids, and deferred income
• Preparation of monthly account reconciliations in Blackline
• Reconciliation of GAAP to Stat variances
• Processing and reconciliation of intercompany transactions
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly flux analysis
• Coordination with external auditors and tax consultants where necessary
• Continuous improvement of finance and accounting processes to comply with policies
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and SOX compliance
• Collaborate on new tools and best practices across businesses and local accounting teams within the organization

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; qualified accountant preferred
• A minimum of 7 years of hands‑on experience in an accounting role
• Familiarity with US and international accounting standards (HGB, IFRS)
• Basic knowledge of VAT and tax law is an advantage
• Strong experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across countries and functions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
