HCRC is currently seeking a JR Human Resources Specialist (FEDERAL) with a background in the Federal Government for a fast-paced, energetic, federal agency. This position requires an incumbent to apply skills for assistant managers and program staff in the full range of Federal HR processes.
Position is Remote
Job Duties- Prepare job analysis, drafting job announcements, issuing certificates of eligible candidates, and communicating with hiring managers and customers throughout the hiring process.
- Process personnel action requests for a wide variety of recruitment and placement actions following the Office of Personnel Management’s (OPM) Guide to Processing Personnel Actions (GPPA) and agency policies, procedures, and processes.
- Use a tracking/intake system to ensure all actions are processed timely and a status of pending actions can be immediately provided upon request.
- Input, edit and update HR information into the integrated NFC payroll and personnel system. Identify and resolve issues concerning personnel and payroll data, including special pay and benefits entitlements and with holdings.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Must have extensive background in staffing and placement on the Federal Government level.
- Must have excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Must have demonstrated ability to perform job analyses.
- Must have demonstrated experience with (NFC).
- Must have demonstrated experience with (PAR) processing.
- Must have demonstrated experience in (EPIC Web).
- Must be able to successfully pass security clearance process.
