• Render professional advanced emergency care to ill and injured patients in accordance with N.Y.S.W.R.E.MA.C. and the policies of the contract medical director.
• Serve as in‑charge medic on an ALS vehicle and oversee the safe operation of corporate vehicles.
• Maintain mandatory certifications and training within specified time frames.

• ICS‑100, IC‑200B, NIMS‑700, Hazmat Awareness (post 9/11/01), NYS Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training.
• Initiate Pennsylvania EMS certification within the first 30 days of hire.
• Acquire and maintain Pennsylvania EMS certification at the highest available qualification within six months of hire.

• New York State Department of Health Advanced EMT‑CC or EMT‑P.
• CPR for the Professional Rescuer (AHA or equivalent).
• ACLS, ITLS or PHTLS, and PALS.
• Certifications updated biannually.
• Valid driver’s license acceptable to the company’s insurance carrier.

• Physicians, EMS/Fire personnel (paid or volunteer), policy agencies, aeromedical personnel, MTS Division staff, management, patients, and families.

• Advanced Emergency Medical Technician Critical Care OR Paramedic.
• Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support OR Pre‑Hospital Trauma Life Support OR International Trauma Life Support.
• Certified Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
• Driver's License.
