• Qualification requirements:
• Professional title of master of pharmacy.
• Interest in experimental work in the field of pharmacology.
• First author in at least 2 original publications, published in journals or publications included in the lists of the competent Minister of Higher Education.
• Author or co-author of scientific publications in the last two years preceding the application with at least 100 MNiSW points.
• Author or co-author of scientific publications in pharmaceutical sciences, especially pharmacology of the skeletal system.
• Total IF of at least 40.
• Documented organizational and teaching activities – experience in teaching pharmacology.
• Documented participation (as contractor/research team member) in the preparation or implementation of scientific grants funded from external sources (e.g. NCN, NCBiR, MNiSW, PRF, ABM, NAWA).
• Knowledge of the English language.
• For foreigners, knowledge of Polish language in speech and writing.

• Written declaration of will to participate, addressed to the Rector.
• Personal questionnaire.
• Scientific development plan.
• Statement of clean criminal record.
• Copies of documents confirming education and professional qualifications (higher education diploma, license to practice pharmacist, certificate of recognition of a foreign diploma if applicable).
• Other documents confirming qualifications (list of publications with IF scores, ministerial scores, certificates).
• Statement of consent to process personal data.
• Statement declaring that if the applicant wins, the Medical University of Silesia is the primary place of employment.
• Statements: having full legal capacity; enjoying full public rights; not convicted of intentional crime or intentional fiscal offence; not punished with a disciplinary penalty as per Article 276(1)(7) and (8) of the Law on Higher Education and Science.

Documents should be submitted in Polish, in a sealed envelope signed with your name and surname, annotated as stated. They may be submitted in person or by mail to the Chancellery of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, 15 Poniatowskiego Street, room 11, ground floor, Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

13.02.2026 at 3:30 p.m. (date of receipt decisive). Offers after the deadline will not be considered. Expected completion of competition procedure: 28.02.2026. The University will contact only selected candidates.
