Skills/Qualifications

• Qualification requirements:
• master's degree in pharmacy,
• license to practice,
• scientific achievements confirmed by authorship or co-authorship of scientific publications with a total IF score of at least 5 and a ministerial score of at least 200,
• in the case of foreigners, knowledge of the Polish language in speech and writing is required.
• Required documents:
• a written declaration of will to participate in the competition, addressed to the Rector,
• personal questionnaire for the person applying for employment,
• statement of clean criminal record,
• copies of documents confirming education and professional qualifications, in particular: higher education diploma, license to practice pharmacist, certificate of recognition of a foreign diploma as equivalent to a Polish diploma (if applicable),
• other documents confirming your qualifications (a list of publications with IF scores, ministerial scores, certificates held, etc.)
• Required statements:
• statement of consent to process the personal data,
• a statement declaring that if the applicant wins the competition, the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice will be the primary place of employment , according to the Law on Higher Education and Science,
• statement of:
• having full legal capacity,
• enjoying full public rights,
• not being convicted of an intentional crime or intentional fiscal offence by a valid sentence,
• not being punished with a disciplinary penalty referred to in Article 276(1)(7) and (8) of the Law on Higher Education and Science;

– declaration of no other citizenship than one of the Republic of Poland and no residence in countries other than the Republic of Poland and country of citizenship during the last 20 years, pursuant to art. 21 par. 4 and 5 of the Act on the prevention of sexual violence and protection of the minors (Journal of Laws 2024 item 1802 as amended)

Documents should be submitted in Polish, in a sealed envelope (signed with your name, surname) with an annotation:

in person or by mail

by 12.02.2026at 3:30 p.m. (the date of receipt of the documents is decisive)

to the Chancellery of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, 15 Poniatowskiego Street, room 11, ground floor, Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Offers received after the deadline will not be considered. The expected completion date of the competition procedure is 28.02.2026. The University will contact only selected candidates.

The result of the competition is not tantamount to the employment of the candidate, but constitutes a recommendation in this respect to the Rector. The final decision on employment is made by the Rector
