ISMIRA Agency actively recruiting for position EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER for Scylla AG!

As Head Housekeeper
, you make sure all guest and crew areas are clean, comfortable, and welcoming. You lead the housekeeping and laundry teams, guiding them to keep every cabin, public space, and crew area in top condition. By working with your team, helping when needed, and keeping everything organized, you help our guests enjoy their time onboard.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Responsible for flawless cleanliness, order and compliance with the Scylla hygienic concept according to HACCP in Housekeeping and Laundry as well as regular general cleaning.
  • Ensure that rooms are made as per company standard.
  • Responsible for dealing carefully with equipment, machines and cleaning agents in the housekeeping department.
  • Responsible for the compliance with and the achievement of the predetermined turnover and cost budgets.
  • Daily inspection of cabins and public areas and clean a 4-6 cabins per day if necessary.
  • Responsible for team building and team spirit in the Housekeeping and Laundry departments (role model function).
  • Fair and equal treatment towards all crew.
  • Managing, training and mentoring the Housekeeping / Laundry crew according to Scylla standards If necessary training of new crew and follow-up.
  • Support, training and mentoring potential (crew members on their way to management positions), in consultation with the Hotel Manager and/ or Hotel Operations Manager.
  • Responsible for the behaviour and appearance of the Housekeeping / Laundry crew, including dress code during spare time on board.
  • Responsible for the correct acceptance, care and return of guest linen as well as the crew uniforms.
  • Responsible for the inspection and return of crew uniforms at the end of the season.

Requirements:
  • Experienced within the hotel industry and/ or previous river cruise ship experience.
  • Outstanding skills and experience in this role with an extensive hands‑on experience.
  • Excellent organizational, inventory and decision‑making skills.
  • Flexibility, stress resistant, calm under the pressure, resilient and team player with positive approach.
  • Professional attitude and appearance, reliable and hard‑working with great team spirit.
  • Open minded and flexible with high social, interpersonal and cultural competencies.
  • Good English skills (written & verbal), other languages as German is an advantage.
  • Being representative of Scylla´s values.
  • Age: min. 18 years old
  • Non‑EU nationals will need D type German visa before joining
