In this role, you will play a pivotal role in implementing global, cutting‑edge AI solutions across commercial, product supply, marketing, and R&D domains.

Our diverse, international team, spanning Poland and Germany, is dedicated to managing the entire product life cycle – from proof of concept to the seamless operation of fully industrialized products. • Participates in industrialization and scaling up of successful advanced analytics & AI solutions prototypes into IT products.
• Develops generalized frameworks, components, patterns and libraries for repetitive data science activities and AI workflows.
• Manages code in Github repositories and performs peer code reviews.
• Build and deploy production‑ready AI systems using Python, Lang Graph and Lang Chain on Azure or AWS cloud platform.
• Architect and implement AI agents to support marketing, commercial, product supply and R&D processes in Consumer Health organization.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, including framework and technology stack selection.
• Collaborate effectively within a cross‑functional environment, working alongside Data Scientists, MLOps Engineers, Dev Ops Engineers, Data Architects, Cloud Architects, Product Managers and Business Stakeholders to ensure AI solutions align with and drive business objectives.
• Support industrialization of classical machine learning solutions, like forecasting, recommendation and optimization models.
• Fosters a culture of continuous learning within the data science & AI engineering team, taking active part in workshops and training sessions to share knowledge and skills.
• Acts as a subject matter expert in software development and AI engineering, advising on best practices and emerging technologies that can enhance Bayer Consumer Health’s AI capabilities.

• Master's or PhD degree with 5+ years of experience in AI Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or Machine Learning Engineering.
• Advanced Python programming skills and web development expertise.
• Experience with web frameworks, particularly Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Good understanding of CI/CD principles, especially Git Hub Actions.
• Proficiency with Azure cloud services, specifically:
  Azure Apps, Azure Containers, Azure Storage and/or respective AWS cloud services.
• Docker containerization expertise.
• Experience with relational databases (Postgre

• Strong object‑oriented programming skills with focus on production‑grade code.
• General understanding of Large Language Models, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, AI agent architectures.
• Demonstrated experience in AI agent system design and implementation.
• Strong API development and integration capabilities.
• Interest in GenAI technologies such as: vector databases, information retrieval methods, and LLM response evaluation frameworks.
• Nice to have: experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions (Terraform, ARM Templates).
