Printing SME

Responsibilities

• Assess organization-wide printer compatibility with the target Microsoft 365 (M365) tenant and endpoint management strategy.
• Develop and execute printer migration plans, including:
  • Printer driver evaluation and updates
  • Queue mapping and reconfiguration
  • Alignment of policies with modern management standards
• Provide expert guidance on MyQ Printaurus printing solutions, including configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Support upgrades and modernization efforts across related print infrastructure products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (end-user computing, infrastructure, security) to ensure seamless integration of printing services into the transformed workplace environment.
• Document migration procedures, technical standards, and best practices.
• Offer escalation support during and after migration phases to ensure minimal disruption to print services.

• Proven experience as a Printing SME or similar role within enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of print server infrastructure, print management, and endpoint printing configurations.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 tenant integration and modern device management (Intune, Autopilot, or similar).
• Expertise with MyQ Printaurus, including deployment, management, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with driver lifecycle management and print queue configuration across Windows‑based environments.
• Ability to design and implement complex print migration strategies.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced transformation program.
