About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong experience in JavaScript/Type Script and Playwright to join our quality engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated tests to ensure the reliability, performance, and user experience of our applications. This role requires close collaboration with developers, product managers, and Dev Ops to deliver high-quality software at scale.
📍Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test scripts using Playwright and JavaScript/Type Script.
- Build scalable, maintainable, and reusable test frameworks for web applications.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure test coverage.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing in CI/CD pipelines.
- Investigate, log, and track defects while providing clear documentation for debugging.
- Ensure tests are reliable, stable, and run efficiently in multiple environments and browsers.
- Contribute to test strategy, test plans, and best practices to improve QA processes.
- Support manual testing efforts when necessary, especially for exploratory or edge-case scenarios.
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript or Type Script.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright (or other modern test automation frameworks like Cypress, Puppeteer, Selenium).
- Experience with REST/Graph
QL API testing. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, or similar).
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and package managers (npm/yarn).
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
