About the Role
We are seeking a Network Engineer – DNAC SME to serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) under a one-year contract. The role requires deep expertise in Cisco DNAC, SDA fabric design, and hands‑on implementation and operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesCisco DNAC Expertise
Onboard, provision, and manage network devices (routers, switches, wireless controllers, access points).
Utilize DNAC assurance features for network health monitoring, troubleshooting, and anomaly detection.
Design, implement, and operate Software‑Defined Access (SDA) fabrics (border, control plane, edge nodes).
Manage network policies, segmentation (VNs), and security integrations (e.g., Cisco ISE).
Leverage DNAC automation features, templates, and workflows for efficient network operations.
Implementation & Operations
Plan, deploy, and configure Cisco DNAC solutions and related infrastructure.
Develop and implement SOPs and best practices for DNAC management.
Perform proactive monitoring, health checks, and capacity planning for DNAC appliances and managed networks.
Troubleshooting & Resolution
Serve as escalation point for complex network issues using DNAC analytics.
Conduct root cause analyses (RCAs) for network performance, connectivity, and security issues.
Collaborate with Cisco TAC and other vendors for advanced issue resolution.
Mentorship & Knowledge Transfer
Provide guidance, training, and knowledge transfer to junior engineers and operations teams.
Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and playbooks for DNAC operations.
Proficiency in Software‑Defined Access (SDA) fabric design, implementation, and operations (including border, control plane, and edge nodes).
Cisco Certified Network Practitioner (CCNP) certification with Designing Cisco Enterprise Networks (ENSLD) concentration preferred.
