About the role:

The core requirement for this role is to scale and maintain our job board's database. This involves collecting, cleaning, and structuring job posting data from hundreds of diverse websites and platforms, ensuring the data is accurate and organized.

Our current tech stack uses a blend of traditional and new web scraping libraries like Selenium, Scrapling, Scrapy, Playwright, and intelligent data parsing to gather, structure, and store job postings.

Responsibilities:

• The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in the expansion and maintenance of our job board's database, with a specific focus on scaling our current data model. This involves collecting, cleaning, and structuring job posting data from various online sources.
• Identifying new sources of relevant data, scraping them, and organizing it as per requirements.
• Adopting an agentic approach to find new job listing platforms is also a key part of the role. This involves creatively searching and identifying new websites for data acquisition.
• Operating the data pipeline: execute a series of Python scripts to perform web automation, data extraction, and processing.
• Monitor and debug: supervise the automation process, identify failures, and analyze logs and screenshots to determine the root cause.
• Data verification: review the final output to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Script Maintenance:
  Perform minor updates to scripts under supervision.

Required skills & qualifications:
