Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain UI automation scripts using Java + Selenium or Python + Selenium.
• Design and implement API automation using Java/Python with Rest Assured or Requests.
• Build scalable, reusable test scripts for regression testing and feature validation.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless execution.
• Use tools like Datadog and Lens for effective debugging and test monitoring.
• Perform end-to-end functional testing across UI and API layers.
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases for new feature development and regression cycles.
• Identify, log, and manage defects in Jira, using Zephyr for test case management.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
• Execute manual testing when needed and provide detailed feedback for quality improvements.
• Proficient in automation languages:
  Java or Python.
• Hands-on with automation tools:
  Selenium, Rest Assured, Python Requests.
• Experience with SQL databases (e.g., Postgre
  
  SQL) and No
  
  SQL like Mongo
  
  DB.
• Skilled in debugging and monitoring using Lens and Datadog.
• Familiar with version control (Git) and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
