Operations Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join Huber+Suhner Polatis in Poland!
In this role, you will be accountable for the end-to-end execution and continuous production operations within the organization. You will set priorities, standardize processes, and drive efficiency to support sustainable growth and competitiveness. This position covers a designated process area, regardless of physical location, and ensures alignment with company strategy and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations in the designated process area, ensuring efficiency and problem-solving.
- Analyze KPIs and operational data to identify opportunities for cost and performance optimization.
- Implement and monitor process improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, APQP, PPAP).
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, health & safety, and quality standards.
- Lead and develop the team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- Plan and manage operational budgets, monitor costs, and support investment decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance) for seamless execution.
- Drive initiatives for process optimization, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
- Act as deputy to the Operations Director when required.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an operational role, including hands-on management of production or operations, preferably in an international manufacturing environment.
- Higher technical education (preferred: production, engineering, management).
- Proven experience in production relocation, transfers, and new product/process launches.
- Strong understanding of modern production management and process optimization methods.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and health & safety regulations.
- Excellent command of English and Polish.
- Ability to analyze data and work with ERP/MRP systems.
- Experience in team management, employee development, and training.
- Change management skills and ability to lead organizational change effectively.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, changing environment with a problem-solving and goal-oriented mindset.
