We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team in Poland. As Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for the effective and successful management of one of our warehouse department. Responsibilities:
  • Fully responsible for the operation and daily management of the responsible areas and monitor the process in real time and timely report and resolve the on-site problems and equipment issues, ensuring smooth business operations.
  • Co-lead the Inbound and/or Outbound daily operations
  • Implement and improve warehouse management systems and processes, standardize operational processes, optimize internal processes, and ensure their effective implementation.
  • Based on business needs, allocate manpower and other resources reasonably to improve operational efficiency and reduce operating costs.
  • Responsible for aligning the business objectives of the up- and down-stream processes in warehouse, as well as communicating, coordinating, and resolving issues across departments.
  • Implement on-site 6S and lean improvement, continuously optimize operation processes.
  • Lead the team to conduct business quality review, developing an overall business improvement plan and implement it.
  • Responsible for department team building, and systematically cultivating and empowering subordinates, cultivating successors, and building a talent pool.
  • Build a positive and healthy team culture and enhance team cohesion.
  • Responsible for performing other work as assigned from line manager.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree and above.
  • More than 6 years of working experience in warehouse operations and at least 2 year of management experience.
  • Experience in managing large warehouses
  • Able to adapt to alternate day and night shifts.
  • Possess the ability to think systematically, understand the complexity of things and sense the bigger picture.
  • Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, PPT and other office software Excel, Word, PPT
  • Strong sense of responsibility, executive ability and teamwork awareness, and have good communication skills.
  • Fluent or native Polish.
  • Proficient in and familiar with warehouse operation processes, various business processes, and the use of warehouse systems.
  • Proficient in at least one lean tool (6S, Innovation Improvement Kaizen&DMAIC), able to plan the responsible area's lean improvement.
  • Able to analyse and identify cost optimization opportunities from warehouse process perspective, and continuously promote cost optimization through system construction.
  • Able to establish an indicator monitoring system to promote the achievement of on-site quality from a long-term perspective, and based on core quality indicators, clarify departmental quality goals and requirements.
  • Able to develop risk and security management mechanisms from the perspective of long-term business stability, and continuously reduce risks.
  • Able to effectively motivate and manage performance for subordinates, continuously improving team combat effectiveness.
  • Ability to identify talents, build a talent pool for warehousing, and cultivate successors.
