The IMA Group is seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Licensed Physician to perform comprehensive medical evaluations as part of our VA line of business. This is a part‑time position (2–3 days per week) initially focused on VA assessments, with the potential to transition into full‑time work if the provider can also perform disability evaluations. Our ideal candidate will conduct physical assessments, review medical histories, and prepare detailed medical reports used to evaluate Veterans’ applications for disability benefits.

• Nurse Practitioner: $120,000 – $130,000 annually, prorated based on days worked.
• Physician: $140,000 – $150,000 annually, prorated based on days worked.
• Fee‑for‑Service Option: $40 per unit for Nurse Practitioners, and $50 per unit for Physicians.

• Medical Evaluations: Perform in‑depth medical assessments, including gathering medical histories and conducting physical examinations of applicants.
• Diagnostic Interpretation: Analyze and interpret diagnostic and ancillary testing.
• Report: Create a comprehensive medical report including VA criteria to determine the likelihood that the Veteran’s condition is related to their military service.
• Data Submission: Utilize our user‑friendly report generation platform to submit VA‑approved questionnaire quickly and easily.

• Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician (MD/DO) license.
• Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Licensed Physician.
• Preferred specialties include family medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine, occupational medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), or orthopedics.
