An announcement for a competition for a position of assistant (post-doc) in the SONATA project entitled "Synthesis of ruthenium complexes with CAAC ligands, application in metathesis reactions " financed by National Science Centre is open for application.
The post-doc (assistant/ assistant professor in a group of science positions) will run a research in exact and natural sciences, in discipline of exact and natural sciences – chemistry. People of all genders are invited to participate.
We are looking for motivated candidates:
- PhD degree in chemistry defended no sooner than 12 years before employment date or thesis close to being defended (required in the first day of work at the latest);
- advance knowledge of organic synthesis and organometallic chemistry;
- very good knowledge of English (at least B2 level);
- at least three papers in international journals (top journal preferred)
- the candidate must meet the requirements of art. 113 of the Act - Law on Higher Education and Science dated July 20, 2018 (Polish Journal of Laws of 2024, no. 1571 as amended).

a temporary contract with the University of Warsaw, in a full time. Planned start of employment 1 March 2026
for 12 months (with possibility of extension) at Faculty of Chemistry, University of Warsaw. We offer a possibility of development and a number of social benefits such as:
