Persons eligible to participate in the competition are those who meet the requirements set out in Art. 113, 116 sec. 2 point 4 of the Act of July 20, 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science, and in accordance with § 166 of the Jagiellonian University Statute, correspond to the following qualification criteria:

Formal criteria:

• hold at least a master's degree in pharmacy or medical analytics, a Master of Engineering or equivalent;
• demonstrate predispositions for research work.

Additional formal criteria:

Very good knowledge of the Polish language – in the case of a foreign candidate.

Substantive criteria subject to evaluation:

• Very good, certificate-proven knowledge of English (max. 10 points);
• Experience in research work: publications, participation in research projects, participation in scientific conferences, completed trainings and internships abroad (max. 15 points);
• Scientific experience in working with in vitro models, in particular with the oxygen and glucose deprivation model, confirmed by a relevant publication (max. 10 points);
• Knowledge of imaging techniques, especially confocal and wide-field microscopy; knowledge of various programs for analyzing microscopic images (e.g., LAS X) (max. 15 points);
• Job interview (max. 50 points).
