Join our Network Software Automation Team! Network Software Automation team designs and develops software that automates network configuration and monitoring. We work at a massive scale, solving complex engineering challenges, shaping the next generation of network automation. We provide a space to learn, grow, and make a real impact on global‑scale automation.

• Designing, developing, testing and deploying highly scalable and secure software for Network Configuration and Monitoring.
• Collaborating with various Akamai teams.
• Learning about our distributed systems, products, and the technical stack as necessary for your role.

• Have a solid background in Python programming (with REST API and SQL).
• Have a good knowledge about L2/L3 Computer Networks (CDN and Carrier peering).
• Possess knowledge of frontend technologies like JavaScript with React.
• Have familiarity with Linux environment and internals.
• Have experience with Dev Ops practices and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Docker.
• Communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.
