• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks
• Write efficient, reliable, and maintainable automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend services using Java‑based frameworks
• Build and enhance test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium or Selenide
• Support manual testing efforts where necessary, especially for exploratory, usability, or edge‑case scenarios
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous feedback and quality checks
• Partner with developers and manual testers to identify test scenarios and build out automation coverage
• Review product requirements, technical specifications, and design documents to create effective test plans
• Perform root cause analysis for failed tests and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
• Mentor junior QA engineers in test automation best practices and framework usage

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in test automation
• Strong programming skills in Java / Python
• Hands‑on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, PyTest, etc.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or Rest Assured
• Experience with test reporting tools like Allure
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, etc.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, automation strategy, and processes
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Willingness and ability to contribute to manual QA efforts as needed

• Experience with performance, load, or security testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Spec Flow)
