RSB Automotive Consulting is supporting one of our leading clients in the development of a high‑end SaaS navigation platform used by millions of drivers globally. The solution offers real‑time content updates, EV routing, charging station management, and seamless integration with various external services. We are looking for a Lead Android Developer to join the team responsible for the Core Engine of the application.

As a Lead Android Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications. Depending on the project stream, your work may include creating new high‑performance modules or enhancing existing functionality. You will ensure complex business logic runs efficiently, reliably, and delivers a smooth user experience on both mobile and automotive platforms.

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications with a focus on high performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, implement, and deliver new features.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to build intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.
• Optimize app performance regarding responsiveness, speed, and battery efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues.
• Integrate third‑party libraries and APIs while ensuring compatibility across multiple Android devices and OS versions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code according to best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and promote knowledge‑sharing within the team.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and specifications.
• Stay updated on the latest Android tools, frameworks, and technologies.

• Professional experience in Android development.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Jetpack Compose (mandatory).
• Hands‑on development experience with Java and Kotlin; knowledge of Flutter or C++ is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, architecture principles, and best practices.
• Experience with third‑party library and API integration.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (Git, Jira, Confluence).
• Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver projects on time.
• Fluent English (C1 or higher).
