Senior Full Stack Developer; PaaS

Slash has headquarters in Singapore and community-oriented R&D hubs in Phnom Penh, Bali, Yogyakarta, Jakarta and Bandung. We are a team of 50+ entrepreneurs, engineers, hackers, and full-stack developers with unique capabilities in web, mobile, AI, and Blockchain.

About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer. This position will be a full-time contractor engagement with a minimum duration of 6 months temporary contract, with the possibility to extend. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development team in building reusable and scalable services.

Advocate and implement agile principles in software development.

Design and develop services with a strong focus on business value and usability.

Architect systems with scalability, flexibility, and maintainability in mind.

Ensure lean operations for all systems to optimize performance and efficiency.

Conduct code reviews and promote best coding practices.

Take ownership of user guides and technical documentation.

Oversee end-to-end design and implementation of complex systems.

Provide technical leadership and strategic direction within the team.

Mentor and guide junior engineers to enhance their skills and expertise.

Act as a Scrum Master when needed.

Utilize Prompt Engineering to supervise Gen AI tools for code generation and optimization.

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.

• Tech savvy (up to date with the latest trends), hands-on experience in both frontend and backend development, from development to deployment and operations.
• Proactive, confident, doesn’t shy away from responsibility, takes full ownership
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team consisting of software engineers, Dev Ops, and other specialists.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a full stack web developer, with strong expertise in either React
  
  JS and/or Angular
  
  JS for frontend, and NodeJS and/or Go for backend.
• Proficiency in cloud hosting and PaaS platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Heroku, and Firebase.
• Expertise in microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of Distributed Ledger Technology or Blockchain, and the use of Smart Contracts with actual development and implementation experiences, particularly on Ethereum and/or Polygon
• Proficient in programming languages like Solidity (hardhat, truffle), Python, Java and Java Script
• Write high quality and maintainable code on open-source (Linux based) web platforms and frameworks (Example: NodeJS, Angular, React
  
  JS, Go, etc.)
• Work in a cross-functional service team consisting of software engineers, Dev Ops, and other specialists
• Care about technical excellence, and strong ability to write high-quality, maintainable code. Working on open-source (Linux-based) project is a plus
• Experience working with at least one SQL and one No
  
  SQL database.
• Familiarity with Prompt Engineering and Generative AI is a plus.
• Strong experience in working in an agile environment. Agile and/or Scrum Master certification is a plus
• Good understanding of the cross-border trade, trade financing processes is an added advantage
