Hi there! We are South and our client is looking for a Word Press Developer!

We’re looking for a skilled Word Press Developer to join the team and take ownership of building, maintaining, and optimizing high‑performing Word Press websites. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and experience working in dynamic environments with multiple ongoing projects. This Developer will be required to take designs from FIGMA, Photoshop, and other software and turn them into fully custom Word Press theme websites that are responsive, fast loading, and perform within current best practices.

• Develop and maintain custom Word Press themes and plugins.
• Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO best practices.
• Integrate APIs and third‑party tools as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver high-quality results.
• Manage version control using Git and follow clean coding standards.

• 3+ years of experience in Word Press development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS

• Experience with custom post types, ACF, and Woo Commerce.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and AJAX.
• Experience using Git and modern build tools (Webpack, npm, etc.).
• Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong proficiency with Elementor, DIVI, and other visual builders.
• Strong proficiency in website loading times and ability to improve website performance.
