* Working in CET, but this role will occasionally require sync meetings with the US team, which may shift your workday to finish later in the afternoon (6:00 PM) as we operate with flexible hours.

Housecall Pro is looking for a Quality Engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. As a key member of our growing team, you’ll support and create web and mobile automation tests by designing, building, testing, and deploying test automation solutions for the Housecall Pro web applications, and native mobile apps on both iOS and Android OS.

Our ideal candidate is responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets the needs of our Professionals while being cost‑effective. If you hold an engineering background and enjoy providing end‑to‑end solutions to software quality problems, we’d like to meet you.

• BS in Computer Science or a related area, or with relevant work experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in QA Automation
  , SDET, Software Developer roles within Agile teams.
• Experience extending and maintaining automated test suites and frameworks, adding new cases, refactoring, and keeping the suite healthy, performant, and easy to run.
• Hands‑on in developing API, Web, and Mobile (iOS and Android) test automation using tools like Selenium Webdriver, Test Ng, Appium, and Rest Assured (or similar libraries).
• Comfortable using CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab CI, Github Actions) and understanding the value derived from shipping code rapidly to production and learning/iterating on the results.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases

• Ability to multitask

• Familiarity with SQL and basic scripting.
• Strong analytical & problem‑solving
