Front End Engineer

Cycles’ mission is to clear the most debt, for the most people, with the least money. Our first product is Cycles for Business, a privacy-preserving, stablecoin native, invoicing and payments solution for businesses. Cycles for Business allows businesses to manage their treasury, issue invoices, and pay bills, while maximizing savings and yield. Cycles optimizes payment and credit flows and resolves gridlock, reducing working capital costs, late payments, and cash flow stress for businesses everywhere.

11, Compound VC, Primitive Ventures, Nascent and Cygni and is currently preparing for Series A. This role presents a rare opportunity to join a high-growth startup and be a part of the founding team led by Ethan Buchman, co-founder of Cosmos.

We are looking for a Front End Engineer to help shape and build user interfaces for Cycles for Business and other products in development built upon the Cycles protocol. These products aim to revolutionize how people and businesses interact with money, clearing, and payments.

The ideal candidates will have a passion for building engaging, user-centric web-based or mobile-based applications, with strong interests in Fin Tech, digital banking, accounting, or crypto. As a Front End Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and scalable interfaces, directly contributing to the success of these products and the broader Cycles ecosystem.

• Develop and maintain responsive and performant front-end applications using modern frameworks like React or React Native.
• Translate UI/UX designs into functional, visually appealing interfaces that provide a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate and ensure smooth functionality across the stack.
• Continuously optimize applications for speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Contribute to prototyping and development of new features across multiple products built upon the Cycles protocol.
• Write and maintain comprehensive tests to ensure quality and reliability of codebases.
• Work with designers and product managers to ensure products align with user needs and the Cycles vision.

• Experience building responsive, mobile-first applications, ideally using React Native and Expo.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
• Experience using Figma and a passion for design.
• Exposure to Fin Tech, digital banking, accounting software, or crypto.
• A passion for creating intuitive, beautiful, and functional interfaces.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative, and agile environments.
