Test Automation Engineer; Java

Work model: Hybrid – Krakłow, 2 days per week in the office
Rate: 120–140 PLN net/hour (B2B)

We are looking for a forward-thinking ISEB/ISTQB certified Senior Software (Test) Engineer with extensive testing experience, who is pragmatic, self-starting, and understands that testing plays a pivotal role in developing systems that meet business needs. The candidate should be familiar with T‑Shaping and willing to grow into a T‑Shaped role.

• Collaborate within an Agile squad on the CREST modernization program, focusing on testing and supporting developers.
• Deliver migration of legacy applications to a new event-driven and service-oriented architecture.
• Define and present Test Strategy and optimal test approaches to stakeholders.
• Design and execute manual and automated test scenarios; perform peer reviews.
• Manage defects effectively, analyze issues, and propose solutions.
• Estimate testing efforts for migration phases.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation actions.

• ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing

• Strong experience in Agile environments, including BDD/TDD
  .
• Hands-on experience with test automation (Java, UFT, ADS).
• Solid knowledge of distributed multi-platform solutions and object‑oriented design.
• Proficiency in Java

  , Oracle
  , and Event Hub technologies (Kafka, Kafka Streams).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (ADS).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
