Position: HR Manager / Patient Coordinator

Orn Family Dentistry is adding to our team! We are seeking a professional, positive person to join our front office team as a Patient Care coordinator/HR Manager. Must have multi-tasking abilities, computer & phone skills, and enjoy working with people. Medical office experience preferred.

Office hours: 7:30am-5pm Monday-Thursday. Scheduled hours will be about 30-34 hours per week. Multiple Benefits available.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and check-in patients upon arrival at the dental office.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient patient flow.
  • Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations within the dental office.
  • Exceptional human relations skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work unsupervised
Experience
  • Previous experience in a medical or dental office or similar administrative support role is preferred. (2+ years preferred)
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
