Thrifty White Pharmacy, located in Jamestown, ND, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician-in-Training for full-time positions. Completion of the Thrifty White Pharmacy Training Program (ASHP/ACPE Accredited) is required, along with all registration, licensing, and certification requirements as mandated by the North Dakota Board of Pharmacy.

The Training Program consists of 400.5 total hours: 271.25 hours are completed on the job as paid time, and the remaining 129.25 hours are unpaid and completed online. Candidates must be willing to finish the program within nine months of enrollment.

• Providing excellent customer service to build loyalty and repeat business.
• Championing Thrifty White programs such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and Healthy Pack Rx , and assisting with patient enrollment.
• Maintaining prescription information to ensure accurate records.
• Understanding and following Medicare Part B requirements.
• Troubleshooting rejected claims or billing issues.
• Assisting customers with Medicare Part D questions.
• Maintaining proper nursing‑home filling procedures.
• Learning and implementing new and changing technologies on an ongoing basis.
• Maintaining flexibility in new or changing work roles and modifying job responsibilities as required.
• Willingness to help anywhere in the store or nearby locations as needed.
• Good attendance and punctuality required to fulfill essential job functions.
• Physical demands include long periods of standing, handling and operating objects or controls, reaching with hands and arms, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 40 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, color, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Applicant should possess excellent customer‑service skills, attention to detail, the ability to maintain patient confidentiality, be at least 18 years of age, possess a high‑school diploma or equivalent, and currently be or be willing to become a certified pharmacy technician registered in the state of Minnesota.
